Solidarity Menstrual Cup
We are the first solidarity menstrual cup in Spain that donates a cup to a woman without resources for each cup purchased. Our mission is to promote menstrual education , normalize periods and eliminate the taboos that prevent us from knowing our body. We want our message to reach all women in the world, without forgetting those who do not have access to decent menstrual hygiene, so we periodically donate cups to different social causes and help all of them feel comfortable with their period.
Solidarity: donation of menstrual cups
Solidarity is undoubtedly our main pillar. We want to share our message with all the women in the world who cannot afford a dignified and healthy menstruation . Therefore, we are the only menstrual cup that for every cup purchased donates another cup to a woman without resources . And if you already have your cup, you can buy the solidarity menstrual cup .
Since 2019 we have donated menstrual cups to different associations of women without resources. Here you have the photographs and documents that prove our work!
DONATIONS MADE
Opañel Women
The Opañel Women's Association has been working for a fair, supportive and egalitarian society for 28 years in its headquarters and managed centers in Madrid and Castilla - La Mancha. Its priority principle is the defense of the rights of women belonging to different social causes, among which the main ones stand out: migrant women and minors, women in a situation or risk of social exclusion and their families, and victims of gender violence.
We have donated a total of 65 menstrual cups (10 small sizes and 50 large sizes) to cover the basic needs of those women who wish to do so. The delivery of glasses will be carried out, in most cases, through private tutoring or training meetings in their different centers with the help of technicians and mediators.
We gave the first workshop to a group of 11 women, we had a great time with them and we learned from each other!

Women in Conflict Zone
The ONGD Women in Conflict Zone has been fighting for more than 20 years for sustainable social and human development, which guarantees women and men the enjoyment of a dignified life, in which they have access to adequate social rights (in health, education, employment, housing...) and that ensures citizen participation and decision-making under conditions of gender equality in the public and private spheres. They do it through their different networks at a national and international level, reaching Colombia or Mali.
We wanted to collaborate by donating 80 menstrual cups (10 small sizes and 60 large sizes) within the Prevention and Health Promotion Program for Immigrant Women, Phase VII. Women who, due to different circumstances, are in a situation of social vulnerability and have few economic resources.
We gave the first workshop to 10 Muslim women who wanted to share their needs and doubts with us. They were super grateful for their new menstrual cups!

Spanish Commission for Refugee Assistance
Since 1979, the Spanish Commission for Refugee Assistance has defended the right to asylum of refugees, stateless people and migrants in vulnerable situations. In their reception centers they offer accommodation, psychological and legal care to refugees and support their social and labor integration.
We have donated a total of 130 menstrual cups (90 small sizes and 40 large sizes) to join their fight for the rights of all women who request them. The delivery of drinks will be carried out through private meetings with the women in their different centers with the help of technicians and mediators.
We provided training to the CEAR team so that the information reached the women without problems. We are sure that they will transmit our message with great affection!
In this case we do not have photographs, following the CEAR privacy policy that we wanted to respect.

Casamance Cultural Center
The Casamance Cultural Center is a space for coexistence between locals and visitors. Located in a strategic square in the Diaken Ouoloff town, it has become an important meeting point, where locals and foreigners share space and enjoy free activities: talks, workshops, open-air cinema... Thus giving an opportunity for education and culture have a place in a territory ignored by their own country.
Last Christmas, a volunteer decided to bring 10 menstrual cups to the center so that its owner, Mariana, could present this alternative to women who wanted it. The result was a complete success and all the women wanted to try it! We wanted to help spread its use, so we have delivered 100 menstrual cups (100 small sizes), so that the girls in their village and the nearest villages can have the menstruation they deserve and forget about it. of the cloth cloths they used until now.
These hands show the first glasses handed out and the excitement that surrounds the women of the villages throughout the area.

Nyumbani Nala Association
The Nyumbani Nala Association is a project developed in the Moshi area (Tanzania) thanks to which they cover the basic food, health and education needs of orphaned children. They thus help them to overcome traumatic situations that have deprived them of their full personal and emotional development.
Marisa contacted us to help the young women who are part of her project and we didn't think twice. We gave them a total of 100 menstrual cups (100 small sizes), so that the minors in the area could put aside school absenteeism and have an alternative that would allow them to attend school during their period days.
In February 2020 it became one of the donations that we were most excited about, we went to the Msaranga Secondary School to be able to deliver 70 menstrual cups and the workshop in person! It was a unique experience and the girls were eager to try their new menstrual cup.

Who is behind GlupCup?
“Behind GlupCup! There is a woman like you who has used tampons and pads for years. Little by little I began to realize the amount of money I spent every year, how much it polluted and, above all, how harmful it was to my body. It was then that I switched to the glass and since I tried it I didn't think about anything else; I wanted to share this wonderful invention with you because I think we all (ALL) deserve a good, pretty and cheap ruler. And here it is! I hope it improves your life a lot!”
GlupCup! It began as a crowdfunding project in which hundreds of women (and men!) bet, thanks to whom today our solidarity menstrual cup is a reality. do you help us to grow up?
